With the Vienna Philharmonic, Zubin Mehta will be conducting an orchestra that many music lovers and professionals regard - even if rankings are not really appropriate in the arts - as one of the finest, if not the very best, in the world. And the location of this conductor and orchestra`s joint debut in the United Arab Emirates, the historic Al Jahili Fort in “Arabia‘s garden city“ of Al Ain, is certainly no less impressive and atmospheric a setting than such famous outdoor venues as the Hollywood Bowl, Tanglewood, Berlin´s Waldbühne, Bregenz´s Seebühne, Munich´s Odeonsplatz or Vienna´s Schönbrunn Palace.
